Tourism Central Otago (TCO) is the Regional Tourism Organisation for Central Otago, and is part of the District Development department of Central Otago District Council. It is a resource for local Central Otago based tourism businesses as well as the Travel Trade. TCO coordinate and facilitate the marketing of Central Otago as a visitor destination.
The Central Otago Product Directory is a resource available to the travel trade. It is part of a range of generic marketing resources designed to keep you informed about the commissionable tourism product on offer in the Central Otago region

Easily accessible by road and air, Central Otago is ideally suited to host small to medium conferences, meetings or corporate breaks. There are some superb venues for small meetings and excellent options for some great incentive weekends as well. Meeting venues range from those with attached accommodation, to purpose built facilities or smaller more intimate venues within wineries and museums.

Being strategically located between Queenstown, Wanaka, Dunedin and Oamaru, there are many ways and options for exploring Central Otago. From a short day trip to enjoy the wineries of Central Otago, to a 3 to 5 day journey through the region, we have developed some sample itineraries to show you how to make the most of your time.
The Central Otago Visitor Centres is the front door to the region’s unique offerings and experiences. They are the official source of visitor information for Central Otago and provide quality objective information on accommodation, activities, attractions, transportation, restaurants and shopping. There are three i-SITES – Alexandra, Cromwell and Ranfurly, and one local visitor centre in Roxburgh.
Tourism Central Otago facilitates seminars and workshops specifically tailored for Tourism Businesses in Central Otago on a regular basis. These are opportunities for businesses to gain skills and learning’s that will enhance their business. The latest workshop presentations can be found here.
